UFO saturday

A handful of ladies turned out at our local senior's room for our 1st of two per month UFO days. We usually have many more than that, but due to March breaks, sickness and travel time, the numbers were down. It is always such a relaxed and happy day. I can't show what I was working on, but I walked around after lunch to look and take pictures of everyone's projects. There is always such a variety.
Alice had the pieces cut and was putting together these braids for a little girl's quilt.
Charlotte is into making coiled bags for her Etsy shop which you can find on her blog.
Claudia was hand piecing the last of her hexagons for her quilt.
There was an appliqued quilt and check out the machine which I was told was forty some years old! It was the quietest, smoothest running machine in the room!
One lady was hand sewing down a binding.
Another was piecing lively colored charm blocks.
I came home tired but very content. These days are the highlights of my month.

Great photos. I have some braids stashed in some box. I'm impressed with the coiled bowl. Happy day!

I tried to go to Charlotte's blog but it's not linked properly. I wonder if you could fix that. I'd like to see her coiled baskets. I'd like to try making some actually. I wonder what she uses inside the coil. thanks Holly!
