Whirligigs

Although cold today (we had snow overnight), the sun was breaking through the clouds by the time I got home after lunch. I had the urge to do some sewing but the outdoors was calling me.
So I donned some warm clothes and went for a walk in the woods. The trail was golden, strewn with fallen leaves. I picked up the helicopters from under a maple tree on my way back.

I get such a feeling of peace and tranquility when I'm in the woods. I feel so much better. Then I get creative.
Have a great weekend!

Yes, a peaceful walk and then a burst of creative energy. That'll get you helicoptering. :)

I know exactly what you mean. It's so peaceful and tranquil and allows one time to think and reflect. The snow part sounds wonderful too, especially because we never get any! :)

This is a charming entry, and I loved reading about it! I second the motion (so to speak) by Margaret!
