Tulip zippered pouch

It's a fabulous day out there today! Finally, feel like spring is really here. This morning I transplanted all my little tomato and Swiss chard seedlings into larger pots.
My husband was working close to home today, so we had lunch and went for a walk.
I've just finished free motion quilting the front and back pieces for another zippered bag. The zipper is pinned in place and ready for the next session.

I did a quick bit of free motion outlining the tulips and then filled in around them with straight-ish lines., nothing fancy as its notva piece of wall art. It must be functional. I really like putting my art into usable items sometimes.

Now, I'm off to make a tea and sit for a bit with my knitting.

Pretty Holly....a great day here too..I have Canada geese in the pond..I know they are making a mess around the pond.....lol. But I love watching them.
I painted most of the day today....Got the ceiling done yesterday in the sunporch...that's where I display my quilts during the summer. Today got the walls and trim done....I may have to give another coat....but not this week...body is tired.

Oh so pretty. It is so vibrant and neat that you designed it. A beautiful day here in this part of Canada too. Dare we say that spring has sprung?

Sounds like a very lovely and relaxing day. Your bag is going to be quite pretty. The pinkish fabrics really complement your Tulips. Nicely done, I think.
