Another beach day

I know, some of you might be thinking enough already but this is what I was doing instead of sewing. I did start the day with a bit of machine quilting on a baby quilt. When it got hot, I headed out to the beach on my own for a swim since my husband went golfing.
I've only shown my toes in the water but I really did go in, honest! I was thinking how nice a picture it would be from where I was floating. Didn't think it would be a good idea to take the I Pad with me.

I love the colors at the sea shore.

The view up the beach.

There's my favorite green in the sea weed

I came home and made tofu in marmalade sauce with rice and cauliflower. Mmmm.

I like! The quilt, the toes, the water, the seaweed!

I would love to live near a beach so I could walk there every day! Somehow a muddy river doesn't have the same appeal!

Water. Everyone's yearning for it right now, including me, as I've mentioned before.

Isn't it eerie how the beach pic and the dinner pic look similar? Btw, do you have access to nutritional yeast? The grocery store might have it even. Tofu soaked in some flavouring (soya sauce or something) and then shaked n baked with nutritional yeast is something really surprising and delicious. Here's a link:

This is new to me, perhaps old hat to you.

I would be right there at the beach with you if I could! Our weather has been just too cool to enjoy the beach. Maybe August will be better. Have fun!
