a finished runner, a giveaway runner

Yesterday, I finished hand sewing the binding down on this runner. It's all done!
I didn't get any other sewing done because I went out for part of the day to help my moving friend. It has inspired me though to clean out some of my own things!
I have this bit of handwork that has been hiding away in my closet. It was going to be a small quilt; then was revised to a runner, and now I no longer have the desire to finish it. Is there anyone out there who loves to do handwork who would like it? The last seam for the runner is almost done. The pieces to finish it are in the bag. If your interested leave me a comment and I'll draw names if there is more than one. I'll leave it open until Sunday the 10th.
I'm linking to the Needle and Thread Network. Go check out all the great blogs.

Hi Holly.. you can put my name in the draw, that would make a beautiful quilt for my grandson.. I would finish it if you don't change your mind and see how beautiful it looks and do decide to finish it.. Susan

How is this done? You make stars and then join with the white diamons? You didn't hand sew all this, did you?

Wow! So nice of you to give this away. I'm not a sew by hand kind of gal, but I'm sure you will have lots of takers!

Holly I would love to finish this if you're sure you're not going to! Hand sewing is so therapeutic!

I'd add hand work to the runner but I have no desire to hand piece quilt blocks. Looks great, though!

Don't know how you can part with this scrappy treasure, but I would certainly love to finish it up. Thanks.

I love the scrappy look of those stars! I don't know how you can part with it, but it looks like you have some takers (not me though!).

I am partial to stars, but don't include me in the draw... I have way to much on my quilting shelf as it is, including some similar to what you are drawing for. The trick is to get the winner to promise to finish!

Hi Holly - I would love to be able to finish your runner, It may even end as a quilt. I need a small project to cart around and this could be it. Thanks for the opportunity.

Holly, your stars are beautiful!! It would be a lovely project to work slowly (and meditatively) on. I'm sorry you've lost the spark for it, but it would have a good home here with me. :)

About your comment that helping your friend move motivated you to clear out some stuff... I can identify with that!! :)

I love that runner, and the stars are very nice, too. Great idea to pass on a project one isn't interested in anymore.

I think the runner i lovely. Sometimes you get tired of looking at the same items, so it is a great idea to pass it on. Would love to win it to finish it. Here's hoping
