I've been working on the improv baby quilt for the last few days. It really is like putting a puzzle together once all the bits have been made and randomly thrown on the design wall. It is almost finished but there are still a couple of bits bothering me so I'm stopping here for today. The second picture is the same except I've cropped out the blue strip on the left. I believe I'll take it off.
There will also be some grey added to the bottom so it will be a little more rectangular.
I'm dragging a little today and didn't work as long as I'd hoped yesterday. I had a weird stabbing headache that got worse as the day wore on. My husband wanted me to go to emergency, but I managed to see a doctor this morning. She said I probably should have although it has stopped today. It may have been a type of nerve pain. If it happens again, I'll have to get more tests. I'm almost embarrassed to go there as I go so often. Anyway I'm better but tired today.
I'm linking to The Needle and Thread Network for WIP Wednesday.

Here's hoping you have no more of those headaches! Your quilt is coming along quite nicely...it's been fun watching it's progress. Take care.
Yup, the cropping is good. Are you okay with the almost straight line of red dots? Just saying, lol!
With that sort of quilt you maybe just be a MODERN Quilter! My aunt used to do that sort of thing in the 40s and 50s when she got a large piece of one fabric and the left over bits from making my uncles work shirts! Funny how old things become new!
Sorry about the headaches, they can be so debillitating (sp?)!
Hope your feeling better Holly.
Yup that's definitely a 'modern' quilt. It's lovely too.
Take care of yourself!!
So pretty and yup, you've gone modern! Hope the headaches ease up soon!
Definitely a modern quilt , looking great ! Take care and hope your headache does not come back .
Beautiful quilt that looks like quite a lot of work.
Sorry about the headache, I know how impossible they can make any endeavor.
this is a great quilt - I agree with your cropping - the blue was just a bit too strong there at the edge. Nasty headaches are no fun, hope you don't get a re-occurrence.
I hope you feel better. I love the quilt.
