Fabric and yarn

I ended up at the clinic this morning with a thumb swollen red and twice its size. I thought maybe it was arthritis but apparently it's infected, possibly resulting from a crack in the dry skin near the nail. I got an antibiotic and instructions to watch it. No change yet for better or worse after 3 doses.

Since I was kind of lazy for the rest of the day, I thought I'd show you 2 recent purchases. One came by mail from the UK.

It's a company started by Linda and Laura Kemshall. They are a collection of 10 inch squares printed from the artists photographs. I love their work and just couldn't resist.

Well I can't quite believe this but I have the same pack of fabrics which came on Monday - aren't they beautiful! Love the rose fabric and the leaves.

I debated on ordering those fabrics, too! I had to restrain myself because it seems all I have been doing is buying lately..They are lovely though! You will have fun with them. And the yarn is gorgeous! Hope your thumb gets back to normal soon.
