Frosting snowflakes

I was sewing this afternoon, but on a small Christmas gift, so it'll have to remain a secret.
This was the view out my studio window. It's been snowing all afternoon. I put the Christmas lights on to greet my husband. It must have been pretty with the snow!

After I took a little break for some chai tea , I frosted my gingerbread cookies with snowflakes. They're not perfect but they taste good!

the snow and the cookies look fantastic Holly. We had the snow today too....freezing rain; now changing to rain...mild tomorrow. odd weather. lol

But it does make it more Christmassy....if that's a word...lol

What a wonderful and cozy afternoon you had. I'm just a little jealous of your snow. We never get snow here - actually, we're lucky if we get rain. I know it gets old after awhile, but those first few snowfalls are gorgeous. And, so peaceful. Plus, an afternoon of chai tea, gingerbread cookies, snow, and quilting just sounds wonderful!
